Can anybody tell me if there is a connection between local SERP's and usage of google maps api in the simple form in one's own website. To become more concrete: I am just wondering if using api code and integrating api into one's own website to have the map displayed just to show the route to one's company, will automatically trigger to have company coordinates be displayed in the local SERP's after user performs a query. If any, how could you use api on your company website without automatically having SERPs results for the same via google's local business centre?
