The map at http://kort.bellamallorca.dk/kort/google_map_large.php uses Mike Williams ELabel: http://econym.org.uk/gmap/elabel.htm
A single ELabel is created when the map loads. It's hidden and positioned at new GLatLng(0, 0). A marker mouse over event causes the ELabel contents to be changed, the ELabel to be made visible and finally the ELabel is positioned near to the marker that caused the mouse over. It's positioning is dynamic - always trying to open so that it is fully visible on the map. Martin.
