Hi, We're currently developing an application that uses the Static Maps API from within J2ME mobile devices and are experiencing issues with reaching the 1000-limit set on 'viewers'.
I assume the 'viewer' is the IP address that requests that map; and as many mobile operators use proxy servers the limit is not on a per- device basis; but over everyone using that proxy. I read a previous topic about Facebook having this same issue (link below). I'm hoping that mobile operator proxy servers also qualify for entry into the mentioned Whitelist. However, I don't have any information as to what IP addresses mobile operators are using as their proxies. The operator I'm using for testing at the moment is Vodaphone; but operator proxies would need to be whitelisted as well else it'll work for some and not others. So, how should we proceed? Thanks.
