de-bugger (lots of times on google maps api threads) something about
fixing bad code?

bugger - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugger
'to mess around, to do something ineffectively' so correct in the IE
sense. (used to imply dissatisfaction)

but if you read more into it - yes can be offensive.
(In England it's usually the tone of the word in conversation that can
problems, or be focal point of much humour)

on-topic I agree with bratliff 'zoom strings' are confusing so my vote
is with him on the vote 'no' for zoom strings in v3.

right b*ggering off somewhere...
