Hrm, yes and no.  I just paid a little bit more attention to your map,
and realized some of the markers aren't getting updated.  It's almost
like you have a smaller viewport setup than what my browser is
displaying.  If I move the map some distance, then the marker gets
updated.  But if I move it just a tad, it doesn't (but others, more
center to the map do get updated.)

Take a look at http://dev.thekirchners.net/map.jpg

Notice the dark versus light drop shadows.  Those that are dark are
those markers getting updated (with your current problem of current
markers being re-displayed over and over again.)  Those light markers
are those not getting updated, even though they're in my viewport.  I
have to move the map so that that particular marker is more centered,
and then it gets updated.

If you're planning to keep the map size to the full browser width,
then you need to calculate the viewport, as opposed to setting a
specific width/height bounds.
