Hello All, When an infowindow opens, it likes to pan in order to accommodate the size of the window.
Example, http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=barbershop&sll=33.864465,-117.919779&sspn=0.01388,0.027874&ie=UTF8&radius=0.8&rq=1&ev=zi&ll=33.866674,-117.920487&spn=0.01388,0.027874&z=16 Click on the 'E' marker and notice how the map pans upward. I was looking instead to have the infowindow open downwards, or left, or right depending on the position, utilizing the space already available and displaying the infowindow rather than panning in some direction to make space.
