Browsers render HTML. That HTML might or might not come from a
website. In my iPhone app, it would come from a file stored on the
iPhone (with some additional information inserted at runtime) rather
than from a website. Needless to say, the iPhone comes with a fully
fledged browser (Safari) and if you wanted to look at a map from a
website on an iPhone, you might as well use Safari.
