First thing to do would be to review recent posts about using HTTP
geocoder.
You need to use a valid key and a sensor= parameter.
Your code could be enhanced to do some error checking on result codes,
rather than just crash.  No file access across the internet should
ever be assumed 100% reliable.
You need to be aware that even if all the technical requirements are
met, your server may be blacklisted by Google for over- or mis-use of
their service.  Very often this lasts for a day ...
