Why start another thread over this already? 33 minutes is not enough
time for anyone with a job, family, etc. to get back to you.

The example you pointed out yourself should provide everything you
need to solve this problem. It does exactly what you describe, minus
the behavior of taking the start and end locations and putting them in
a textfield or something similar. To do so, just modify the onclick
handler(s) in the example to set the value of the field(s) you have in
mind.

If you're looking for someone to write the entire thing *for* you
(which is more what it sounds like), you probably won't get far
without offering compensation of some sort...we're here to offer help
when you get stuck, not provide complete solutions. ;)

Try modifying that example you posted as I described. If you get
stuck, post a link to a site demonstrating your troubles, and we'll
help out. But give us more than half an hour next time.
