I've been banging on this for quite a while. On my property maps I always put a disclaimer that the overlays can be misaligned by 25 to, in some cases 50 m NW-SW or whatever. In one particular instance, obviously the join between two satellite images, a line of properties are duplicated along the join, displaced by about 75 m.
I have tried emailing google and the map copyrighters themselves have emails to present such claims but I have only ever had joy from erasing non-existing roads on the road map. The satellite maps of the region of SE Queensland have remained unchanged for at least 3 years! igloo --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
