Thanks for the input. I am not shading the polygon so just being able to have multiple polylines is working for my application. When encoding I start with WKT from our GIS system and break it down into array of single polygons be they from a MULTIPOLTGON or a POLYGON with internal holes. I show the image next to an image from our GIS system which does shade the selection show where there are holes.
