That's weird because "S()" on its own doesn't occur on that line, and "b.S()" is map.getCenter() which is rather unlikely to be null or not an object.
Do you happen to know what browser it is that throws those errors? I'd expect MSIE8 to say "Object doesn't support this property or method" or "Function expected" (depending on whether "b.S" was null or was not a function), and for MSIE to never tell you the name of the object or function concerned.
