Barry - I checked the examples in the link you provided.  While I do
not know how to program with Java Script, I tried to modify my page
code in line with the "Simple Demo" and was surprised to be as
successful as I was in setting up a dynamic map.  However, the city
marker will not stay visible and I am not sure that my coding is
entirely correct since it was done by trial and error.

Would you please take a look at the following page and let me know
what needs to be changed in the coding.
