I don't know. No-one else has complained about it, but I shouldn't think anyone else is simultaneously loading 70 KML files using GGeoXml. What "data" do you get? Do you think it might be map tiles that are the problem really? If your 70 KML each contain one placemark, you are probably re- centering the map 70 times and so fetching a new set of map tiles 70 times ...
