Howdy, hope somebody can look at my code/page and help. (note I looked through this discussion group & gmaps-api-issues and tried a few things, but alas, this is a bug that's beyond me).
When click the map, a blue icon is displayed. - If mouseover the blue icon, an info bubble of the address at that point is displayed. - If mouseout of the blue icon, the info bubble is not displayed. The above works fine in IE, but not Firefox :-( ...Firefox seems to intermittently & continuously fire the event listener... Here's a link to my web page: http://www.msa.saccounty.net/utilitybilling/streetview/CUBS_StreetView_33-Focusbutton.aspx?lat=38.53500&long=-121.45440&parcel=02002420010000 Notes on the web page: a.)- The incoming URL needs the incoming lat & long and some info for the parcel number, as that's where the map is centered (so cut-n-paste the entire link above. b.)- This is a demonstration page of an SAP to Gmaps integration, so I've liberally included comments...also, most of this code is plagiarized as I'm not that good a JavaScript (which is no doubt much of the problem). c.)- The GEvents for the mouseover and mouseout are called in my function showAddress(response). d.)- I've tried resetting the API version number from 2.s to 2, etc, but this didn't help. thanks in advance to anyone that can offer some advice (such as re- write the app from scratch).
