hey guys

So, I'm basically interested in using the Google Maps APIs in a java
non web application (i.e. desktop application). I have read the TOU of
the APIs and it is clearly stated that this can be done, provided that
the application is publicly available for download.

quote: "Yes, the Google Maps APIs can now be used in Desktop
applications, provided that they adhere to the other restrictions of
the Terms of Service" and " Note that in order for a desktop
application to be deemed "publicly accessible", there must be a
publicly accessible webpage from which it can be downloaded"

Now, the problem is that almost no information is given on how this
can actually be done i.e. how can these maps be incorporated in the
desktop application?

Thanks in advance for your useful help and advice.
