You can think of the release process being broken down into two phases: 1) Actual release, i.e. new version is live 2) Documenting the release, which includes: updating the public Changelog, posting to the discussion+notify groups There's currently a slight delay between steps 1 and 2. Sometimes a new version will be released, but it won't be documented (step 2) until a few days later. This means everyone will potentially see changes from a new release even before they become aware of it through the updated changelog, notify group, etc. Regarding your specific situation, I'm not sure why your site would break since there were no upgrades done to v=2 within the last week. v=2 was upgraded v2.210 around or slightly before March 16th and hasn't changed since then. Can you verify if loading your map with v=2.x resolves the problem? 2.x is currently at v2.216.
