I was advised to re-post this in this group from the Google Maps group, but I will preface it with the fact that I am not by any stretch a Javascript coder.
I'm trying to find the driving distance between a number of city pairs in Europe (about 250). I first tried to use the batchGeoCode tool (http://www.batchgeocode.com/) to get the Lat and Long coordinates and then just calculated the straight line distances. This was fine, apart from the fact that I'm looking at land travel, so seas get in the way. Is there any way to fill in a matrix with driving distances, where cities (and potentially lat and long) are row and column headings? Driving time would also be useful. I have all the cities in a kml file, but that didn't seem to help much. Thanks in advance. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
