Hi im just lookign for soem tips. I ahve a map that i need to plot
4000+ points on to . They are all over roughly 20 mile radius.

The 4000 points are split into about 40 sets of roughly 100 points. I
need to be able to step through each of the sets of points and show
that current set also with the ability to view all points at one time
( dont ask why ! ) but the sets need to be stepped through fluently
without needing to wait and reload tghe next set

The way im doing it at the moment is preloading all the markers ( 4000
of them) at the start and then just use show / hide functions as liek
i said i need to be able to step through the sets of points in a
smooth operation.
When loading this number of points it as you would assume taking
forever and a day. Is there a fast way to load all these points or is
there something smarter i could be doing?

p.s im loading my points throuh an xml file but i would imagine that
the reading of the xml file is the fast bit !

Any help is much appreciated

Thanks
