I need to use the Google Map API to get the drive distance and drive time between 2 points.
What's the best way to do this? I've used the Google geocoder web service to get latitude and longitude for an address and that implementation worked well for me. Ideally I'd like to use a similar approach to get the drive distance and drive time. However, a quick search on this group didn't clarify things for me too much. To adhere to Google's TOS does a map need to be displayed on a page in some capacity? If I need to get the drive time and drive distance for 1000 endpoints in a single loop then realistically what kind of performance should I expect? Also, if I purchase a license from Google then is there a limit to how many of these queries I can make in 1 month? Please let me know if you know the answers to any of these questions. Also please post code for the easiest way to accomplish this if you know how. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
