Hi, I initially generate an API key for https://mydomain.com (intended for used on https) which have the infamous 'insecure content' popup under IE.
So I change the page(asp.net) to use http:// instead. However, I get the "This site needs a new Google Maps API Key" message. The only difference I can notice is that switching back to "https://" my map show up. Otherwise, I get the "need new key message". Surprisingly, I then try to generate a key for "http://mydomain.com" but it still doesn't work(and I notice that the key string is totally different). What is even strange is, this new http://mydomain.com key works if I access it via "https://" So it seems that google has memorized the site(by IP?) and only the first key generate for that IP works ? Anyone experienced this before or knows how to solve it ? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
