No, you don't, and you shouldn't be attempting to scrape Google's web
pages. And I think it's unreasonable to ask for help doing that.

The decoder takes an encoded polyline string. See
http://facstaff.unca.edu/mcmcclur/googlemaps/encodepolyline/ for
details of encoded polylines.

The posting guidelines do recommend that for urls starting
"maps.google." you ask in the Google Maps forum:
