Hi, embarrassed to raise this one, but as subject says, IE 7 and 8 lose the map on the server version (but work on my local copy). Page is: http://www.nzrugbystay.com/i/12/14/accomodation/Auckland
I've verified the html - found a couple of minor html issues when I did that, but didn't fix the problem. I've spent a bit of time trying to get to the bottom of it but now feel I am going in circles and need some outside help! What I've found so far is that IE shows that it is still trying to load something - ie the page never completes loading, but I can't figure out what isn't loading (apart from some aspect of the API I guess). On this page I am using a slideshow that uses jQuery and Galleria, and if I remove this (or even just remove the pictures) the map appears in IE. I'm using API 2 and the GoogleMapAPI class with php to pull out the address to put as a marker on the map (to street name level). The difference between the server page and my local copy is that the server page has a base href added so that I can use htaccess to do friendly urls and not have to use absolute addresses on all the images in the page. I'm wondering if that is causing the issue but can't figure any way to check it. Any help appreciated. cheers ...stu -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
