I have a couple of questions about the TOS for the "Google Maps API Web Services"
I'd like to create a notification feature on a website that emails users and directs them back to a Google map on the website. My questions are: 1. Can I fetch the driving directions and therefore the driving distances and use just the "driving distances" in the notification email as long as the email points back to a Google map for display of a map and the driving directions from the user's origin to the destination. Given this is posted on the Google Maps API Web Services page: ( http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/directions/ ) "Calculating directions is a time and resource intensive task. Whenever possible, calculate known addresses ahead of time (using the service described here) and store your results in a temporary cache of your own design." 2. Can I store these temporary results from the web services to increase performance when the user clicks on the link in the email and goes to the Google map on the website?
