Hi. I'm puzzled by the behaviour of GDirections() and it's loadFromWaypoints() method.
http://www.tinemuller.dk/test_drupal/node/1180 Search for "55.680433, 12.587767", radius 1km, All and Viser max 10. Click the first sidebar to open the infowindow on this marker Adresse: Nyhavn ved (Stor Skibs Anker). There's an option in the infowindow to add the location to the Ruteplan so click that. Now select any other marker and add that to the Ruteplan too and click Get directions. A route is drawn on the map and the text directions displayed under the map. You should see that the first location is displayed with the text within the brackets removed. It displays Handicap toilet - Nyhavn ved instead of Handicap toilet - Nyhavn ved (Stor Skibs Anker). After playing with it for a while i found that if a full stop is added to the location string before the @ character and the coordintaes then the text in the brackets displays as desired. So if you edit the Adresse 1 value so it reads: Handicap toilet - Nyhavn ved (Stor Skibs Anker). @ 55.680433,12.587767 Now Get directions again and look at the directions text, it reads: Handicap toilet - Nyhavn ved (Stor Skibs Anker). And the text within the brackets is there. Before i simply append the full stop to the location string in the code if it contains brackets i wondered if there was any reason for this behaviour. I'd prefer not to have the full stop display but want the text in brackets to display so if there's any other way to get the text to display in full without a full stop being displayed too then i'd be interested to know how. Thanks. Martin. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
