Larry, for a simple example....
I read a point from a database. I overlay that on the map. I get a new point....I now want to show the icon at the new point and not the original point. ie it is moving I want to continue reading and displaying say every 5 seconds. I do not know the route of the object until it tells me where it is. It gives me GPS coordinates. An example of this simple pattern would be great.
