I've been dealing with this for a couple days now and have determined that
it's not my code and is a browser bug, so now I'm hoping someone else has
seen this and knows a fix.

In IE8 in Standards mode (XHTML 1.0 Transitional), when printing a map that
has some content above the map, the second page of the print (for instance,
if you're doing driving directions) has tiles from the map showing on the
top. For example, http://www.betablue.net/gmapsTest.html - Print that page
(or do Print Preview) in IE8 without compatibility mode turned on and you'll
see what I'm talking about.

I've obviously got overflow set to hidden on the containing div and when the
map tiles are written the containing div that is placed has that set as
well, so there's no reason tiles should be appearing outside the main div,
but they are.

Of course, this is only in IE8 and only with Standards mode set. If it's in
Quirks mode it works just fine and testing in true IE7 seems to work just
fine as well (I've forgone testing in IE6 as I don't support that any
more...).

Everything I've tried has failed to fix this so far except for putting IE8
into Quirks or IE7 mode, but both of those are not possibilities. Also, if
there is no content above the map, then it does not do this either
(presumably because it is too high up the page). However, I'm needing
content above the map when printing so again, that's not an acceptable
solution.

Anyway, this has been driving me nuts and I hope someone out there can help!

Thanks,
Charlie
