not as dead as IE6 I don't think - from what I have seen many
developers have stopped tweaking their code for that version and just
given up on it completely, on account of the huge difference that IE6
displays pages as compared to the rest of the browsers on the market,
W3 standards, etc and the fact that IE9 is now more or less
released... a little stubborn but (according to people who know about
this stuff - ie, not me) 6 was a very substandard product.
