You have your work cut out for you. You have two separate createMarker functions, one which does stuff for the sidbar which is completely included in the other. Your myclick function is also local to one of your createMarker functions and all of the above are local to your initialize function. Wouldn't really matter, but for the myclick function to be accessible from html click events in the sidebar, it must be global (those html click events execute in the global scope), which only becomes important if you want your sidebar to work.
