Here's the exact code I've been using on this site for about a year.
http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?&q=10642+Howe+Rd+Fishers+IN&output=xml&sensor=false&key=fKlrTWTC2_OiwVcDKIyAb3QEX_p_xLOK5rpbJbLFZoc

Google won't even let me generate another key for this site.
If you cut and paste it and run it as a link on the browser, it works.
