I am using the Google maps api v2, and adding in the Google Earth view. When I switch over to the Earth view, the mouse scroll-wheel zoom seems to think I am still on Maps view. It zooms exactly like it does in Maps view...only from the top down, no matter if my orientation is at a different angle...and very jumpy, not smooth like Earth normally zooms.
Without doing anything else, if I hold shift and move my angle around a bit with the mouse, and then scroll-wheel zoom again, it seems to fix the problem...which would be fine. But when I have added polygons/placemarks or anything to the Earth view, changing my angle with the shift key does not fix the zoom issue. I couldn't find anything about this in the forums or online. Is this a known issue. And is there any workaround? Thank you for any help. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group.
