Go to http://code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/?exp=earth#maps/earth_integration
1. It should load the Map view first...close out of the tooltip popup 2. Switch to Earth view, don't move around in Earth or anything 3. Zoom in/out *using the mouse wheel* and you will notice it jumps zooms instead of a smooth animation 4. Change the view angle by holding the shift key and clicking/dragging the mouse 5. Zoom in/out using the mouse wheel again and you will see a smooth animation now like it should be 6. While still at the side-view angle, switch back to Map view and then right back to Earth view 7. Zoom in/out using the mouse wheel and it will switch your view angle to straight down and "jump-zoom" again This is my problem...except mine is a bit worse. If instead of drawing a 2d polyline to the map/earth, I draw a 3d polygon to Earth, the scroll-wheel zoom issue does not get fixed by moving around or changing the angle. It gets stuck in this "jump-zoom" mode. Do you see the same issue when performing the above steps?
