Google Maps is commercial, even though it is free to use under some circumstances. For example, if you have a lot of traffic you will be charged for maps. You need to check this out.
I'm not sure what you are asking about 'coverage' You can e.g. draw polygons on maps to represent coverage areas, thats not difficult- if you have the data.
