In the past few days (I think!) the HYBRID map presentation has been
odd in Chrome, and only in Chrome. The odd behaviour is to get just a
flash of the satellite tiles before being left only with the roadmap
on a grey background. (I am using the v3 API.)

I have tried disabling other scripts, tried removing the control and
navigation options, but all to no avail.

It looks fine in Mozilla (Firefox and Seamonkey), in Opera, and even
IE7 (well, sort of in IE7: the marker tiles are blechh, but perhaps
that's another matter).

But in both Chrome (on Windows XP and Ubuntu 9.04) and Safari (Win
only) I get the behaviour as described above.

The live URL for this is: http://fltc.sudalyph.org/about-the-locale.html

Any advice on this one? I live in hope!
