I cannot post a link to the page, it's not available on the web; it's
on my laptop behind a NAT router and not publicly accessible.

The only code I did not include is the jQuery.js file that is in place
for jQuery calls; the DIV that is used for the map (which is copied/
pasted straight from the sample code that Google has provided - ie,
the name of the DIV is "map_canvas"); and the document statement with
HTML/HEAD/BODY tags.  I'll include the DIV, here:

<div id="map_canvas" style="width: 100%; height: 100%"></div>

If anyone has run across this problem (works in IE, but not in FF/
Safari), please let me know how you fixed it.
