Hi folks,

I'm attempting to use the KML Layer feature to display KML that
contains regions. I'm using a KML file (https://sites.google.com/site/
mountainlegacyprojectmapv1/network-link-kml-2/network_link.kml) with a
network link to a KMZ containing regions (https://sites.google.com/
site/mountainlegacyprojectmapv1/map-portal-kmz/MLPMapPortal.kmz).

The URL to the test site (with KML displayed, but regions not
functioning) is: http://web.uvic.ca/~ellie/index.html

I found in the KML documentation that "<Region> within <NetworkLink>
is supported" in Maps for both "KML queries in the Search box and
GGeoXml objects in the Maps API" (http://code.google.com/apis/kml/
documentation/mapsSupport.html). I'm wondering whether the new KML
Layer includes the same functionality for regions as GGeoXML did in
v2.

If not, I'll give up. If so, can anyone possible tell me where I'm
going wrong?

Thank you very much in advance.

Ellie
