Hello ... I've got the crude beginnings of a map that places markers at 5 different cities and then a 6th marker on a position based on the simple average of the other 5 geolocations. The 6th marker is draggable and connects to the 5 other markers with polylines. I'd like to have all 5 polylines act as 'rubber bands' when the 6th marker is moved so as to show the relationship and let users see how it impacts relative distances as the lines shrink and stretch to follow the moving marker.
Essentially, I want to share the vertex that is the 6th marker among the city markers. What has me stumped so far is how to address each polyline as a distinct entity for the purpose of updating that shared vertex and redrawing the lines dynamically. The map is here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6625672/maps/MapCenter.htm I suspect I'm just not understanding how to place polylines themselves in an array that's addressable in a fashion similar to how I'm cycling through the locations. Whichever is the case, any help or links to actual implementations would be great.
