Hello Chad and thank you for the suggestion with respect to the
MCVArrays. I've looked (and worked) through the example you linked
and I can see the potential and part of the promise of the MVCObject
and corresponding binding(s).

What I haven't figured out or seen anything resembling an example of
is a multi-connected MVCObject, which is to say a single marker that
is either bound to numerous polyline end points or a single marker
that has multiple distinct polylines bound by one endpoint to that
marker. I'm sure I'm missing something and I very much like digging
in and trying to understand how someone has solved a problem but I
feel like I'm chasing a vapor on this one. All the examples I've
managed to locate are either binding markers to vertices in a single
multi-segmented polyline (or polygon in some cases) or they're simple
matched pairs where A binds to B and vice-versa but I haven't located
a situation where A binds to B and later C binds to B and still later
D and E also manage to bind to B.

I've also seen some mention of exposing an object's position property
but I can't locate an example of an Object that's been created and is
later referenced for the sake of acquiring the exposed position
property or some other property. I'd be happy with being able to
create a marker that will serve as my "anchor" and later, after
clicking some arbitrary location, having the ability to create a new
marker that is somehow able to tap the original marker (or object if
that's what's needed) on the shoulder and ask for its location. Is
such a thing even possible apart from the instance or function call
that's creating it?

I suspect my frustration is more a matter of my limitations than the
API's so please don't interpret this as ingratitude -- I just wanted
to acknowledge your help and confess that I'm still trying to wrap my
head around it.

Thanks again!
