I just finished an iPhone webapp (described at http://www.chirpid.com/home) that uses Google maps. I came from a Windows programming environment, and so had to learn the Mac programming environment from scratch. My final tool choices are: JQuery (http://jqfundamentals.com/book/book.html), HTML5 (http://www.html5rocks.com/), JetBrains WebStorm (http://www.jetbrains.com/webstorm/). Bruce
