Hi, I've been asked to build a Store Locator on a clients website... I was thinking of making them a gmail account and showing them how to build a My Maps map with all their stores and having that display on their site in the iframe. Not sure if that is the best use of Google Maps for this situation.
Alternatively, the site currently has a custom CMS our company built for them and I've been considering whether it's possible to use the API to push the store information to Google Maps from the backend of their website. I'm really looking for suggestions on how best Google Maps can be used as a Store Locator, if anyone has recommendations or examples they can point me towards I would appreciate it immensely!
