If you use My Maps, you could use the Google Maps Data API to pull it
down:
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/mapsdata/developers_guide_javascript.html

Note, that the Maps Data API is in Labs and therefore not as well
supported as something like the Maps API.

Getting the data from the CMS is definitely an option - get it to
produce JSON output containing the stores and you'll be laughing.
