Hi all,

I want to use Google maps JS API v3 on a webpage I am building. I am
confused about whether I can use the API without buying a license or
not. The case is like this:

We want to create a network of shops selling a specific product, and I
want to provide the possibility to a visitor to see on the map all of
the shops that are near him, depending on his or her position. The
webpage is public and it is free for the visitor to use the map to find
the close-by shops. He or she may also see information about a shop
such as prices, for free. But if the visitor wants to place an order
through our web page this is charged either directly or from a
subscription. The visitor is also charged by the store as usual when he
or she picks up the ordered products.

I would also like to know if and how could I contact Google directly to
ask this. It seems to me that I could only contact them for support on
using the Premier version of the API.

Every help would be much appreciated,
Gerasimos
