Indeed, I am running Windows 7. Sorry, I forgot to mention that. By now, I have found out I am definately not the only person noticing this change, many of the visitors of my project use Chrome on Windows aswell, and some of them have sent me email asking "what's up" with the map.
No changes noticed in this issue so far, still malfunctioning.
