Eddie, further to my previous post I have done other tests that make me suspect of a bug in StreetView or GoogleMap viewers, more then in Chrome. The tests were to put the map canvas in overlay to other type of background and the most meaningfull was to put the map canvas in overlay to a panorama viewer based on Adobe Flash Player (instead of the StreetView panarama viewer). All these tests were positive and mouse interactions with the map canvas was ok also using the last Chrome version. It seems that the problem arise only if the map is overlayed to StreetView!
