I had the problem with ie9 ( which was running as compatibility mode if it is what you mentioned )
Is there any way to be notified of the change of the api ? It should only be effecting IE7 or IE8 compatibility mode embedded browsers, and they hope to have it fixed soon. I'll post here when I know more, and update this thread when a fix is out.
