You have actually *read* the developer's guide, yes? http://code.google.com/apis/spreadsheets/data/3.0/developers_guide.html
Firstly, you'll need a GDataVersion and Authorization headers in your PUT. Secondly, you'll need to obtain the worksheet ID via a GET to the worksheets feed. Thirdly, when you PUT data to a cell URL, you'll need to supply all the data you previously obtained via a GET from the cell feed plus your modifications. Fourthly, when you do a PUT, you'll need to send an If-Modified-Since header. You're not even close at the moment. Come back after you've read it. I suggest using CURL http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/articles/using_cURL.html for future experimentation, because then you can print out your whole HTTP conversation instead of making us guess what your HTTP conversation looked like. until then, David.
