About Nomad Storyteller
Nomad Storyteller targets a range of geoweb, geospatial, location based
information and publishing services wherein information and virtual objects
can be placed online in a geographical context. Information sharing, content
creation, and real-time collaboration services are seamlessly integrated and
an easy to use user interface enables consumers as well as corporations and
governments to multimedia content packaged into "information spaces" that
assume a geographical search context.
The Architecture
The architecture and concepts are based on geospatial or geoweb based
information spaces wherein information from various objects including,
sensor devices, user generated content, legacy databases, and more, can be
place in geo places and consumed through various devices, and platform
versions of Nomad.
Nomad is comprised of web services that provide access services to a
geospatial database of world places and neighborhoods, a multimedia content
management and video transcoding services, ad server, content creation
editor called Galaxy, semantic processing services for relating information
to user and location based contexts and collaborative messaging service in
support of real-time communications for services that currently include
white board, and messaging. Video conferencing in the works.
Nomad Storyteller is designed to operate on desktop, web sites, Facebook and
other social networks supporting the Open Social interfaces
