Hey Kathleen, I am merely trying to update two themes to no avail and I have been complaining about it to no avail either. I have asked nicely if my "Symbols" them would be updated as I have submitted and the older "Erotic Banana" to be replaced with the "Newer Version of Erotic Banana" What exactly the hold up with the theme submissions and updates all the time. It is such a royal pain in the posterior. I have even put all my theme making on hold and I am definitely considering not renewing a web-host or domain name where all my themes are stored. I really seriously am considering call it quits with Google including using Google as my home page. I am sure many more theme designers are too. Can't blame them for the problems with the submissions all the time. It never gets resolved. Who takes care of that anyways? Would be nice to know so we could take our complaints and issues directly to them.
