I agree that things are messed up with iGoogle themes. The whole concept is a bit confusing for users who are not well versed in complex XML products. I recently purchased a custom domain and realized the products for iGoogle are not all available to the start page of the Google Apps application. I wish there was more synergy with the Google products. I am not bad mouthing Google but I wish there were more organization with their products and the setups were a little simpler. That is my 2 cents on this subject.
