You probably can't, unfortunately. Google makes no provision for aliasing theme URLs (as they do with gadgets), nor any other equivalent mechanism. You basically just need to be really careful that you republish using EXACTLY the same URL as you did before. Things like lower vs. upper case, or adding/removing "www." on the beginning of your domain, will cause duplicate entries - even though they resolve to the same web resource.
